Why Buy a Double Running Buggy?
Double-running strollers are the ideal option to run with your child. Traditional strollers work well for daily use. twin stroller with car seats are designed specifically with jogging in mind and feature large wheels, tyres that are filled with air and usually a front wheel that locks for added suspension.
Side-by-side models such as the Mountain Buggy Duet and Out'n'About Nipper Sport Double V4 are best for occasional jogging, or more hard-core runners are likely to prefer the more advanced double-running pushchairs, such as the Thule Cheetah 2 bike trailer.
Safety
Double running buggys are equipped with three or four wheels, much like a pram. However they're usually bigger and the front wheel is locked to provide additional control and suspension. Most double running buggy handlebars come with brakes (similar to the brakes on bikes) to allow you to quickly stop your buggy. Many also have wrist straps for added safety. Some models have a slightly reclined seat to provide additional comfort for your child when they are eating or taking nap. It is best to wait until your baby is at least nine-months-old before you go for a jog, and only when they are comfortable.
